We are based in East Kent, in the south-east of England. Dover, with the worlds busiest ferry port, a busy Cruise Terminal, a magnificent castle and the famous White Cliffs, is only about 25 miles away. A number of major international airports are within easy reach - Gatwick is 62 miles, Heathrow and Stansted both about 85, London City 65 and Luton airport 110 miles. For attractions and culture Central London is 70 miles, Canterbury 18, Leeds Castle 18, Greenwich and the Cutty Sark 58 miles, Legoland 95 miles - many other interesting and historic places are within comfortable driving distance. For entertainment the O2 Arena, ExCel Centre, Wembley Stadium, Earls Court and a number of major sporting venues are easily reached. In July 2011 the British Open Golf Championship will be held at Royal St. Georges in Sandwich, about 35 miles from Ashford.
