Our Cars
Our network of indpendent drivers means Academy Cars can offer big company service without big
company overheads. As well as our own people-carrier, we have a number of experienced drivers with quality cars who work with us to ensure a top-class service and to enable larger groups to be catered for. All cars are fully licenced by Ashford Borough Council and carry a first aid kit and fire extinguisher. Drivers are also licenced by Ashford Borough Council and are CRB and health checked.
Our own Hyundai i800 CRDi Style. Brand new in October 2008, this is a very spacious, top-of-the-range people-carrier. Very well-appointed with dual zone air-conditioning, privacy glass, power points for laptop and iPod, generous legroom and plenty of luggage space. A powerul engine ensures relaxed travel for all of our passengers. A hugely popular vehicle for business and executive travel as well as transfers to and from airports, Eurostar stations, cruise terminals and many other requirements. This vehicle has been used for travel from East Kent to places as far afield as Bath, Barnsley and even Edinburgh.
Darrens VW Caravelle 6-seater. Brand new in September 2009 and with a longer wheelbase than his previous Caravelle, this is another top-of-the-range people-carrier with air-conditioning, privacy glass, generous luggage space and even a DVD system. Conference seating and a fold-out desk make it ideal for business on the move. Also ideal for airports, cruise terminals, etc.
Mikes Volvo V70 tdi estate. Another powerful and high-spec. car with leather seating, air-conditioning and good luggage space. Mike likes his Volvo so much that he had a brand new engine fitted. Although fully licenced by our local Council this car has a special exemption from having to display a taxi licence badge on the rear so it is ideal for clients who wish to travel discreetly.
Pauls Chrysler 300C. These cars are hugely popular with their disctinctive appearance and Mercedes engineering. Large, comfortable and very well-appointed this car has been an instant hit with our clients.
