A: On the Contact Us page there are landline and mobile telephone nos, a fax no. and an enquiry form. Please use whichever method you prefer (please bear in mind that if you call us on the mobile when we are driving we will ask to call you back).
A: If you advise your dates and times of travel when enquiring then we will always advise our availability when giving our quote. All quotes are subject to our availability at the time of confirming a booking so a delay in making a decision may mean disappointment.

A: We provide a high level of service so usually we will meet you in the Arrivals Hall and help with your luggage to the car. 


Q: What licences or other authorisations does Academy Cars have?

A: We have a Taxi Operators Licence issued by Ashford Borough Council. The Council also licence our vehicle which is subject to valid insurance and a twice-yearly Compliance Test (an MoT by another name). Drivers are also licenced by the local Council and are subject to CRB and health checks.

A. We always check flight times by Teletext and/or the airports web-site so we know if a flight is late (or occasionally early!) and will amend our times accordingly. For this reason it is essential that we are advised of your flight number and departure airport.

A: We do. This cost of this is included in our rates.

Q: Tell us more about your people-carrier? 
A: We've already outlined the high specification on the About Us page but we can add that everyone who has travelled in it has been hugely impressed (and at least one person is seriously considering buying one for themselves). The Hyundai was tremendous value for the money which has enabled us to offer a much higher-grade vehicle than our previous Mercedes Vito without inceasing our rates. Q: Tell us more about the other cars in your 'network'.
A: The other cars belong to other drivers, each of whom is equally as professional as we are. Their vehicles include a VW Caravelle 6-seater people-carrier complete with air-con. and DVD player, a Volvo V70 estate with air-conditioning and leather seats and others such the VW Passat, Skoda Octavia estate and Chrysler 300C saloon.

Q: Can you help us to check-in at the airport?
A: Yes we can, however this is not included in our normal rates and a small extra charge may be involved.

Q: Is your people-carrier disability adapted?
A: No it isn't. However depending on the amount of luggage that you may have, there is room to carry a wheelchair folded up if the person can enter and exit the vehicle normally and sit safely and comfortably in a normal vehicle seat.

Q: What about child seats?
A: You can either use your own or we can sometimes provide them.
