Eurostar transfers
The Eurostar high-speed rail service has become extremely successful since its introduction in the mid-1990s. Currently it offers services to Paris, Brussels and Disneyland Paris (Marne le Valle) plus a summer service to Avignon in Provence and the hugely popular ski-train to the Alps during the winter. At Lille there are connections to SNCF for high-speed travel to destinations throughout France.
We are seeing more and more business to and from the Eurostar for personal, holiday and business travellers. A very popular transfer is between the Ashford International station and Dover Cruise terminal for the cruise ships. We also get requests for transfers between Southampton cruise terminals and the Eurostar. Many foreign language students also arrive on the Eurostar and we transfer them to and from their host families or other accommodation throughout Kent and East Sussex.
Ashford International station is less than two miles from where we are based. We can also provide our services at Ebbsfleet International and St. Pancras.
The new high-speed domestic train service, taking only 37 mins. between St. Pancras and Ashford, is also a big success. It is often quicker to catch this train to Ashford and get a transfer than it is to catch the normal train to the nearest station.
